Welcome reception Friday, April 21



On Friday, April 21, a welcome reception was held to celebrate the arrival of delegations from G7 countries and international organizations.

The reception provided an ideal opportunity to communicate the appeal of washoku (Japanese food). Vegetables with labels visualizing the efforts of farmers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions were served to highlight “sustainable agriculture,” the theme of the Meeting. In addition, serving ideas that may not be familiar to overseas consumers were introduced to boost export of agricultural products.
