Web Accessibility Policy

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries aims to create a website where all people can equally access the information provided, and we are committed to ensuring and improving web accessibility. As a benchmark, we will utilize the Japanese Industrial Standards JIS X 8341-3: 2016 "Design Guidelines for Consideration of the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities-Equipment for Information and Communication, Software and Services-Part 3: Web content."

2. Targeted Conformance Levels

Conformance Level AA

JIS has three levels: A, AA, and AAA. "Conformance to Level AA" means that all Level A success criteria are met, and all Level AA success criteria are also met. This notation method is defined by the Information and Communication Access Council Web Accessibility Infrastructure Committee's "JIS X 8341-03時20分16 Compliance Level Indication Guidelines for Web Content (external link/ Japanese only)."
