State Minister Takinami visited South Africa and the United Arab Emirates from Tuesday, September 16 to Sunday, September 21, 2025.
In South Africa, State Minister Takinami attended the G20 Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting and the G20 Food Security Ministers’ Meeting, and held meetings with dignitaries from various countries.
In the United Arab Emirates, State Minister Takinami visited local retailers handling Japanese agricultural, forestry and fishery products as well as food items, and exchanged views with local Japanese companies.
